376 FM Radios in Operation in Nepal

Kathmandu, June 25: The Government of Nepal has granted broadcasting licenses to 448 FM Radios in Nepal by mid-June 2013.
Among the 448 licensed for operation, only 376 FMs are in operation, said Sushil Kumar Ojha, joint-secretary at the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Likewise, the government has provided broadcasting license to 49 televisions by the same time. RSS
