Boy commits suicide after he failed in SLC

Chitwan, June 12: A boy committed suicide in Ratnanagar of Chitwan district after he failed the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations.
Anish Amgain, 17, a student from Skyrider Boarding Secondary School, Ratnanagar, hung himself from the ceiling fan at his home when his symbol number did not appear in the SLC result sheet, according to Area Police Office, Ratnanagar.
Amgain had inquired about his result through SMS from mobile phone, said Mani Prakash Khatiwada, a local. He then went inside a room and was later found hung, confirmed his family.
Amgain only obtained 17 marks in Social Studies.  He was one among the three students who failed from the School.
His body has been sent to Bharatpur Hospital for post mortem. RSS
