Tanahun, July 1: The Milijuli Agro Producers Cooperative at Aanbukhaireni VDC-2 has set up an e- agricultural information centre in its office.
The main objective of the information centre is to share information about the newly developed technologies and the prices of agricultural products to the farmers, consumers and entrepreneurs, said Bishnu Bahadur Khanal, president at the cooperative.
The cooperative updates the local prices of agricultural goods and produce and shares the prices of the others places, he added.
The vegetable entrepreneurs come to purchase the vegetables after looking up the prices in the internet, said Sunil Magar, Manager at the cooperative.
Agricultural production has been increased in the area in the recent period. More than 50 people are into commercial farming and each person annually earns Rs. 500 thousand, said the cooperative. RSS
