Curfew on in Jumla

Jumla, June 12: The District Administration Office, Jumla has clamped a curfew in Jumla until 5 p.m. today also.

The district administration had issued curfew orders from 5 a.m. to 8.15 p.m. on Tuesday and it decided to extend the same until 5 p.m. today, said Chief District Officer Hari Pyakurel.

The curfew follows amidst rising tensions here following a clash between the cadres of the Nepali Congress and the Unified CPN (Maoist) on June 9 and 10. RSS
