Drugs trafficking increase in Chitwan

Chitwan, July 1: Drug abuse and its trafficking has increased in the district this year compared to the previous years, said police statistics.

According to Police Inspector Jiblal Chudali, as many as 27 drug traffickers were arrested last year and 59 this year.

Likewise, the police have arrested five people on the charge of possessing illegal arms in the district.

According to the police statistics, the number of drug users in the district is 2,171. This figure is double the number compared to the previous years. RSS
