Kathmandu, June 25: The Fifth Sanitation Seminar of the South Asian Countries is going to be held in Kathmandu on November 11, 2013.
The three-day seminar is going to be organised by the Ministry for Urban Development. Ministers, secretaries, representatives of NGOs and INGOs of the eight South Asian Countries will participate in the regional seminar.
Spokesperson of the Ministry, Suresh Prakash Acharya, said that around 400 representatives working in the sanitation sector would participate in the seminar.The first sanitation seminar was organised in Bangladesh in 2003.
Works carried out by SAARC in this sector would be assessed and strategy of the future programmes would be prepared in the seminar, it is learnt. RSS
