Biratnagar, June 16: Property worth Rs. 300,000 was gutted when fire suddenly broke out at the cowshed of one Ram Chandra Banskota, a resident of Bayarban VDC-6 in Morang district, the District Police Office said.
The fire that started at noon yesterday was taken under control with the help of locals, police and fire engine.
Meanwhile, Som Nath Dahal, 22, of the Bhutanese Refugee Camp at Pathari -1 in Morang has been admitted to Koshi Zonal Hospital Biratnagar for treatment after he consumed poison yesterday, police said.
