Solukhumbu, June 14: A German national dies at Lukla of Chaurikharka in Solukhumbu district this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Thomas Frank Achim Hartel, 56, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sudan Singh Basnet. His passport number is CIVBV9W10.
Thomas, who was in Tengboche on Thursday, came to Lukla by helicopter to return to Kathmandu after he fell sick.
He fell down on the way while he was going to airport from a hotel to fly to Kathmandu at 9:00 am, and died on the way to hospital for treatment, said Police. RSS
