Kathmandu, June 25: The 'Health Awards' instituted by the Health magazine are to be given away in the third week of July this year.
The awards are given away on the occasion of the Establishment Day of the magazine every year.
The awards are given away to the outstanding doctor, the outstanding community and private hospital, outstanding drug company and the outstanding social organization, said Anil Neupane, Editor of the Magazine.
A selection committee comprising Dr. Laxmiraj Pathak, former Director General of the Department of Health Services, Dr. Padam Bahadur Chand, Chief Policy and Planning at Ministry of Health and Population, former Director General of Department of Drug Administration, Bhupendra Bahadur Thapa, senior physican Dr. Jagadish Prasad Agrawal, Officer at Department of Family Health, Bhogendra Dotel and Kiran Bajracharya, a nurse, has been constituted for this purpose.
