Landslide displaces 10 households in Solukhumbu

Solukhumbu, June 11: Ten households have been displaced due to a landslide at Ward No. 6 and 7 of Baku VDC in Solukhumbu district.

Family members of the displaced households have been taking shelter at their relatives' homes after heightened risk of more landslides there.

Similarly, the landslide disrupted teaching learning activities of local three schools from May 25. 

Purna Khaling, a teacher of Jaleshowri Lower Secondary School, said that the schools are not running classes although they have opened for the past few days. RSS
