Missing Tourist Found Dead in Rukum

Rukum, June 10: The body of a German citizen, Myareno Menechhiti, 53, has been found recently at Ranmamaikot VDC in the district. The locals found the body in course of collecting valuable Himalayan herbs yarshagumba (Cordyceps Sinensis).

            He was missing for nine months in the area. The body has been forwarded to the capital city Kathmandu, said Dhani Man Pun, a local.

            He might have been missing in course of hunting, said locals.

            Likewise, the camera, passport, Nepalese currency and foreign currency were found along with the dead body. RSS
