Pokhara, June 16: Normal life in Pokhara was affected due to the Nepal banda, today, organized by different political parties including CPN-Maoist.
Private and public vehicles are not found plying in Pokhara Municipality. Similarly, Industrial and business activities were disrupted while no schools and colleges remained open due to the banda.
The banda enforcers, however, did not disrupt the movement of vehicles belonging to press and human rights activists. The vehicles that are used to deliver milk and water were found plying without any disruption.
Hundreds of passengers have been stranded in various bus parks here as long and short route vehicles from Pokhara did not ply. RSS
