One dies being swept away by flood

Dolpa, June 19: A man died after he was swept away by the floods in Rupgad river in Juphal VDC of Dolpa district.

Khim Bahadur BK of Dajima from Athbiskot VDC-4 died while he was crossing the river. The flood followed by incessant rainfall since Monday had also swept away two wooden bridges in the river.

Employees and general public are facing hard times to go to and from Dolpa district headquarters to different VDCs when the bridges were swept away. RSS
