Jumla, June 23: One elderly man died yesterday when Jawa River swept him away and one school-boy of nine has gone missing after being swept away by Bheri Khola (river).
The man who died is identified as Madhukare Sarki, 70, of Depalgaun- 3 and the boy missing is Kali Bahadur Shahi of Tamti-7, the District Police Office said.
The body of deceased Sarki has been sent to Karnali Health Science Academy, Jumla, for postmortem and the missing child is being searched for, the police said. RSS
