Possible facilities will be provided: Finance Minister Koirala

Kathmandu, June 14: Minister for Finance, Shankar Prasad Koirala, has said the government would provide facilities in the budget for the Fiscal Year 2013/2014 as per available resources.

Receiving a memorandum submitted by the All Nepal Temporary, Contract and Wage Basis Employees Association at his Office today, Minister Koirala said he was committed to providing proper facilities to the employees as per the government's capacity.

"The government would leave no stone unturned to sincerely perform the activities that are to be done from the government's side," Vice-chairman of the Association, Kumar Raut, quoted Finance Minister Koirala as saying.

The Association had also submitted 15-point demands to the Finance Minister Koirala on the occasion.

The demands include permanency of the temporary and wage basis employees, insurance of a million rupees, arrangement of provident fund, and grades, among others, to them. RSS
