Chitwan, June 13: A Probe Committee has been formed to investigate the death of a woman, who died while she was undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur.
Chief District Officer, Narendra Raj Sharma, will lead the 10-member committee. The committee would include five members each to represent the victim and the hospital side respectively, he said. The committee also comprises of rights activists and representatives of local chamber of commerce and industry.
Kin of the victim have withdrawn all programmes of protests after the administration assured them to forward the process for compensation and action as per the committee report. The committee would submit the report within a week.
