RPP central committee gets complete shape

Kathmandu, June 25: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Surya Bahadur Thapa, has administered oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed members of the RPP Central Committee (CC).

Chairman Thapa administered the oath of office and secrecy to 25 members appointed to the party CC amidst a programme at RPP Central Office, Chabahil, today.

RPP Chairman Thapa appointed Indra Prasad Dhungel (Ramechhap), Thakur Prasad Sharma (Dhading), Surya Bahadur KC (Kathmandu), Dinesh Neupane (Dang), Ram Krishna Bhattarai (Morang), Nilkantha Kafle (Nawalparasi), Ang Chhiring Lama (Ramechhap), Laganlal Chaudhary (Sarlahi), and Kiran Giri (Kathmandu) as the CC members on Monday.

Similarly, others appointed the CC members are Bishsweswor Marabaita (Siraha), Bharatjung Upreti (Nuwakot), Baburam Basnet (Bhojpur), Nandalal Chataut (Baitadi), Shivaram Thapa (Kathmandu), Jayakumar Khadka (Kathmandu), Jagat Thapa (Sunsari), Bam Bahadur Basnet (Dhankuta), Bhim Prasad Gauchan (Myagdi), Gopal Sedhai (Kavre), Nara Bahadur Budha (Dolpa), Rampadarath Shah (Siraha), Bhima Yadav (Parsa), Mohanraj Malla (Kailali), and Mohan Thapa (Baitadi).

With the newly-appointed members taking oath of office and secrecy, the RPP Central committee gets complete shape. The RPP law has a provision of electing 77 central committee members from general convention while the party chairperson nominates 30 others for the 107- member central committee.
