Jajarkot, July 1: A scholarship scheme targeted to the dalit students who do not have access to the school education has been launched in the district from this year.
Nepal National Dalit Community Welfare Association has launched the scholarship scheme under which some 50 dalit students would be benefited. Save the Children had provided assistance for the programme.
The organization aims to provide monthly scholarship to the dalit students from nursery to master level.
As per the scholarship scheme, the students from the dalit community would be provided Rs. 500 for basic level, Rs. 1,000 for secondary level, Rs 1,500 for higher secondary level, Rs. 2,000 for bachelor level and Rs. 2,500 for master level, it is learnt. RSS
