Three bridges built on Janakpur-Bhittamod road

Gaushala, June 17: Three bridges have been constructed at the same time on the 19- kilometre Bhitthamod-Janakpur road that connects the Mahottari district with Janakpur and the Bhittamod, the Indian border point.
The bridges have been constructed at Sahodawa, Prakauli and Dhabauli of the Bhitthamod-Janakpur road section. The bridges at Sahodawa and Prakauli are 29 metres long and eight metres wide while the one at Dhabauli that lies in Jaleshwar Municipality is 234 metres long and eight metres wide.
The bridges were constructed at a total cost of Rs 52.7 million. All these bridges lie in Mahottari district and have been constructed under the 41-kilometre stretch of the Hulaki Sadak (Postal Road) section. RSS
