Okhaldhunga, June 26: CPN-UML has
provided an economic cooperation of Rs. 50,000 to a family of its cadre facing
extreme financial crisis.
The party provided that amount to
the family of former ward chairman and founding secretary of the Okhaldhunga
Village Committee of the party, Ekraj Budhathoki.
The
party helped the family from the amount collected from party well-wishers as it
was facing crisis after Budhathoki died from cardiac arrest on January 28 while
working in the Upper Sagarmatha Bus Operators Association as a transport
worker, said UML Publicity Department Chief Shankar Katwal.
UML District Chairman Yagyaraj
Sunuwar handed over the amount to wife of Budhathoki, Omkumari.
She
is living with one infant son and a daughter in a rented room in the district
headquarters with the help of neighbors. RSS
