Rautahat, June 16: The drinking water problem at Dalit settlement in Pipariya Dostiya VDC has been solved after maintenance of water supply pipelines there of late.
It was learnt that non-Dalit locals had dismantled pipelines installed to supply water to the Dalit settlement some days ago. With the maintenance of broken pipelines, the water supply has been made smoother, said Dharmendra Keshari, chief at the District Drinking Water and Sanitation Office, Rautahat.
The acute shortage of drinking water caused by the dismantle of water supply pipelines had hit hard total 65 households of Chamar (Dalit) in the settlement. RSS
