Youth dies of altitude sickness

Jajarkot, June 24: A local youth who had gone to collect the prized Himalayan herb, Yarsagumba (Cordyceps sinensis), in the high altitude area in Dolpa district has died due to altitude sickness.

He is Raju Singh, 34, of Sakla VDC-4, said Nara Bahadur Shahi from Sakla-4. Singh's body is being brought from the area which is three days' trek from here. RSS
