Tulsipur (Dang), July 4: There is no trace of the parents of a toddler who was found abandoned in a community forest at Gobardiha VDC of Dang district a week back.
The one and a half year old boy who looks like a child from the Tharu community was found by people who had gone to the forest to collect grass for cattle. The boy was crying alone inside the Kulpani Community Forest at local Badahara when he was rescued.
They handed over the toddler to the Armed Police Force (APF)'s Jawlamai Battalion at Bhalubang for custody. The police announced through local media calling on the child's parents to come collect him. But no one has come to claim the child, police said. RSS
