Kathmandu, July 9: The Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has appointed Dr. Govinda Bahadur Tandon [Kathmandu] to the post of Member-Secretary and Narayan Subedi [Kaski] to the post of Treasurer of the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT).
The Minister made the appointments to the vacant posts in the capacity of the Chairperson of the PADT. The appointments have been made as per the PADT Act, 2044. The term of the appointees would be four years, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation stated in a press release today.
Dr. Tandon who has done Ph. D. in cultural study of the Pashupati Area was nominated to and served as the Treasurer at the PADT from 2044 to 2049 B.S. and as the Member-Secretary from 2049 to 2050 B.S. before this.
Similarly, newly-appointed Treasurer Subedi is a retired civil servant who served for 30 years, the Ministry stated in the press release. RSS
