Babai Bridge in dilapidated condition

Dang (Tulsipur), July 5:  The bridge over the Babai River on the Tulsipur-Ameliya road section along the Rapti Highway has become dilapidated for lack of proper timely maintenance, posing risk to vehicles.

The black topped layers on the bridge are peeling off and the railings have become derelict due to rusting, said a local Ram Rajaure.

Locals have called on the authorities concerned to repair the bridge at the earliest, saying the poor condition of the bridge is posing a risk to vehicles. RSS
