Kathmandu, July 9: The All Nepal Himali Buddhist Association and associated family have strongly condemned the series of bombings carried out on July 23, Sunday, by terrorists at the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodhgaya, Bihar state of India, where the apostle of peace, Lord Gautama Buddha, attained enlightenment.
They have expressed their resentment over the damage caused to the temple and its surroundings in the bombing and the injuries suffered by Buddhist monks.
The Association, in a press release today, wished for speedy recovery to the monks who sustained injuries in the attacks and called on the Buddhists all over the world who spread the mantra of non-violence and the light of peace to observe forbearance. RSS
