CA election will be held at any cost: NC leader Deuba

Kathmandu, July 10: Senior leader of the Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba, has said the Constituent Assembly (CA) election would be held at any cost for the government, election Commission (EC), and the security bodies are ready for it.

NC leader inaugurated the tree plantation programme organized in Shobhabhagawati, at the Bishnumati River Bank, in Kathmandu today and said that the poll opposing party CPN-Maoist has formed a five-member high level talks-team and the major parties, too, were ready to settle the dispute among the parties regarding the election process, therefore, the solution to the current political impasse would be found, soon.

During the programme organized on the occasion of the 31st BP Memorial Day, as many as 100 saplings were planted on the river bank.

Hamro Mitra Yuba Samuha, Chhetrapati, Kathmandu, has been planting trees in the area for the last three years in locals' participation.

Talking to journalists in a different context, former Prime Minister Deuba said the Indian Minister for External Affairs had said that India was for holding election in the slated time and wished for providing essential support. RSS
