Kathmandu, July 9: Visiting Indian Minister of External Affairs Salman Khurshid paid a courtesy call on Chairman of the Interim Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi at the latter's office in Singha Durbar today.
During the meeting, the Indian Minister of External Affairs expressed happiness over the announcement of the date for CA elections and expressed the readiness on behalf of India to provide any kind of support to make the elections successful, according to Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Arjun Bahadur Thapa.
Talking to reporters following the meeting, Spokesperson Thapa said the Indian Minister also reiterated India's full support and cooperation to Nepal's democracy, peace process, political stability and overall prosperity.
Matters relating to Nepal's water resources and bilateral trade promotion and other areas of mutual interest and bilateral concern were also discussed during the meeting. RSS
