Kathmandu, July 3: Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi and Chairman of the Unified CPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal had a meeting this morning.
In the meeting that took place at Regmi's official residence at Baluwatar, the two leaders discussed preparations being made for the forthcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) elections slated for November 19 and creating the necessary environment for the same.
On the occasion, Chairman Regmi informed the UCPN (Maoist) Chairman that the government has already completed preparatory works regarding the election required of it.
Stating that election was the major goal of the government, Chairman Regmi urged the UCPN (Maoist) chairman Dahal to make special initiatives towards the creation of election-centred environment, according to Rajendra Pandey, Chairman Regmi's Press Coordinator.
Dahal pledged that he would focus all his attention towards creating the environment for the election on behalf the High Level Political Mechanism and his party. RSS
