Parbat, July 7: Youths of Kaski district, who are in Qatar in course of overseas employment, have provided financial support to a person of Parbat district, who was injured in an incident in Qata
The Kaski Adarsha Sewa Samaj, Doha, provided the financial support worth Rs. 187,350 to Bharat Malla of Pang VDC-5 of Parbat district at a programme organised on Saturday.
The incident took place in April 2012 while Malla was on duty at DHL Company in Qatar. He was working there for seven years.
Though the DHL Company covered all his treatment expenses Malla continues to suffer from paralysis below the waist since the accident.
Chairman of the Samaj, Ash Bahadur Gurung, handed over the amount in the presence of Parbat Secretary of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Santosh Thapa, and Parbat Chairman of Press Chautari Nepal, Ganesh Poudel.
Speaking at the programmme, former Chairman of the Samaj Tilak Sapkota, said that the Samaj had also provided Rs. 200,000 to flood victims of Seti river in Kaski and it has been providing financial support in other different social works. RSS
