Kathmandu, July 3: The Gas Entrepreneurs' Joint Struggle Committee has threatened that the gas entrepreneurs would quit the business if the government does not fulfill its demands.

Making the six points demands public at a news conference organised here today, the Committee warned of launching a stern agitation if the demands put forth by the Committee are not addressed by July 11.

The Committee claimed that it was not unjust for gas entrepreneurs to expect some income after making the necessary investment for a business.

On the occasion, Committee spokesperson Bibendra Bhakta Pradhananga said that since the private sector has made the entire capital investment in the sector it should be allowed to take decisions independently.

Chairperson of Media International, Madhav Nirdosh said that the government should hold talks with the gas entrepreneurs and resolve the problem as soon as possible. RSS
