Kathmandu, July 9: Visiting Minister of External Affairs of India Salman Khurshid paid a courtesy call on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at the Rastrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas today.
During the meeting, matters relating to mutual interest between the two countries were discussed, according to a statement issued by Spokesperson of the Office of the President, Hari Kumar Shrestha.
High-ranking officials from Nepal and India were present during the meeting.The Indian External Affairs Minister arrived here this morning on a day-long visit of Nepal.
Earlier, Minister Khurshid held official talks with Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi and Foreign Minister Madhav Prasad Ghimire. He is also scheduled to meet leaders of various political parties before returning home later this evening. RSS
