Bara, July 9: Agitating teachers recruited under the Per Child Fund policy who are known as PCF teachers in Bara have set ablaze the District Education Office (DEO), Bara, accusing it of neglecting their demands.
Teachers who were at the Office to meet DEO Arun Koirala got angry and set fire to the office saying he did not come to meet them. Chief District Officer Durga Prasad Pokhrel said he immediately sent firefighters to the office upon coming to know of the incident. Furniture and documents have been damaged by fire. Complete details of damages are awaited.
