Kathmandu, July 10: The National Sports Council (NSC)'s technical executive board has decided to issue volunteer instructor licenses to 138 people for nine different games.
A meeting of the board chaired by NSC Member-Secretary Yubaraj Lama on Tuesday took this decision, citing shortage of instructors. It said the number of human resources working at the NSC was not enough to conduct training throughout the country.
The NSC has decided to issue licenses to volunteer instructors fulfilling the required qualifications and process in the first phase. Such licenses would be provided to individuals completing at least two years of training for volunteer instructors.
The volunteer instructor license has been issued to 27 people each for athletics, table-tennis and Wushu, to 17 individuals for Kabaddi, to 13 persons for handball, to nine persons for wrestling, to seven individuals each for shooting and weight-lifting and to four persons for badminton. RSS
