Kailali, July 10: Vice-Chairman of the CPN-UML, Bamdev Gautam, has said that the election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) would be held in the stipulated time on November 19.

At a news conference organised by the Press Chautari Nepal, Kailali, here today, Gautam said that all political parties should participate in the CA election.

Stating that the CPN-UML has already begun the election campaign, the UML Vice-Chair said that other parties also should not make delay in launching the election campaign.

Responding to a query, he said that the CA election would be held in November, otherwise the country would bear an unimaginable loss if the CA election was not held in the stipulated time.

Gautam said that there was no possibility of going to election by holding a roundtable conference as the CPN-Maoist has said, and claimed that the election would be held at any cost even if some political parties do not participate in the election.

Stating that the 11-point and 25-point agreements reached among four political forces would not be scrapped, he expressed the view, however, that some flexibility could be shown in other issues. RSS
