Biratnagar, July 9: Ramjan, the month-long festival of sacrifice and dedication observed by Muslims, commences from tomorrow.
Muslims observe a fast from 3 in the morning until sundown throughout the Ramjan period. This fasting is called Roja. Roja is a difficult fast and the person observing it has to maintain the purity of his body and pray Allah.
Roja is not compulsory for the sick and the frail. Muslims celebrate the Id-ul Fitr festival on completion of Ramjan. RSS
