Itahari (Sunsari), July 11: Different NGOs and government offices have provided emergency relief materials to the flood victims in the district.
The United Mission to Nepal Itahari, Sewa Cooperatives, the District Development Committee and the District Women's and Children's Office have provided the relief materials to the flood victims of Bhurki landless squatters' settlement.
Beaten rice, noodles, biscuits and other food items were provided to the flood victims.
Likewise, due to the incessant rainfall and floods, some 150 households of Narshing, Kaptangunj and Shreepur VDCs were displaced on Wednesday, said Chief District Officer, Laxman Kumar Thapa.
