Mangalbare (Ilam), July 11: Nepal Red Cross Society, Ilam Chapter has handed over different rescue equipments to the District Police Office on Wednesday.
Rescue equipments including tent, fire-fighting clothes, jackets, pickaxes and crowbars were handed over to the police, said Devi Prasad Gautam, president at the District Red Cross Society, Ilam Chapter.
Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force and the Nepal Army had conducted a joint disaster rescue training from June 30 to July 6 in the local Mai River.
As many as 15 police personnel from the District Police Office, 10 from the Area Police Office, Mangalbare and 10 from Area Police Office, Pashupatinagar participated in the training. RSS
