Revolving fund established for scholarship

Kathmandu, June 1: The Lions Club of Kathmandu, Capital, and Srijana College of Fine Arts, Lazimpat, has established a revolving fund of Rs. 200,000 to provide scholarships to poor and intelligent students studying in the college.

Club President Pravin Prasad Lakaul and college principal Krishna Manandhar, today signed the agreement paper to this effect.

The name of the Fund is 'Niraula Kathmandu Capital Lions Club Scholarship Revolving Fund.'

Founder President of the Club, former Governor Hari Shankar Niraula, has been providing scholarships amounting to Rs. 75,000 every year through the Club. RSS
