Chitwan, July 5: A person, who was injured in a road accident at Fisling in Chitwan district on Wednesday, died on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Santosh Lama of Makawanpur.
The accident took place when a truck (Na 2 Kha 8429) heading towards Kathmandu from Mugling hit a car (Ga 1 Cha 7916) coming from the opposite direction.
Four persons including CPN-UML central member and former Minister Kiran Gurung, car driver Lama, Bose Gurung and Rama Gurung of Kaski were injured in the incident.
Lama died while undergoing treatment at College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
Condition of other injured including UML leader Gurung is normal, said police. RSS
