Seventeen people hurt in road mishap

Hetauda, July 3: As many as 17 people were seriously injured when a bus they were travelling in overturned on the Hetauda-Narayanghat section of the highway at Jyamire at 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

The bus was going towards Janakpur from Kathmandu at the time of the accident.

The injured passengers are being treated at the Chitwan-based Teaching Hospital. Three of the injured have returned home after receiving general treatment at Hetauda Hospital, police stated.

The driver and helper of the bus are absconding immediately after the accident and the police is searching for them. RSS
