Mugu, July 11: Surgical services have been stated at the District Hospital, Mugu after 10 years of its establishment.
The 15-bed-capacity hospital started providing services since 2003. A three-year-old boy was operated upon on Tuesday and the District Hospital, Mugu has stated that it can now handle cases of emergency surgery.
A team comprising a Philippino surgeon who is serving at the hospital on voluntary basis performed the operation on the infant. She said they could also run emergency obstetrics services at the hospital provided that there is regular electricity and adequate blood supply. RSS
