Two thousand people benefited from free eye camps

Dhankuta, July 3: As many as two thousand eye patients were benefited from free eye care camps held at six different places in Dhankuta district.

The eye camps were held under the joint aegis of the Lions Club and the Care Woman Nepal, Dhankuta. The eye camps were mainly targeted to the eye patients from the underprivileged communities in the rural areas.

The eye camps were set up at Leguwa, Pakhribas, Hile, Sidhuwa, Mulghat and Bihibare Hatiya in the district. Free eye operation for correction of cataract was provided to the needy patients, besides giving eye check-up and free medicines at these camps. RSS
