Lalitpur, July 9: Chairman of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Nepal Upendra Yadav has said that there are slim chances of Constituent Assembly (CA) election on November 19 until procedural and political decks were prepared.
Inaugurating the Lalitpur District Office of the party on Tuesday, Yadav said that commitment was needed from the political parties not to repeat the mistakes of the erstwhile CA to ensure constitution writing.
He also demanded that the election constituencies should be determined based on the population.
Yadav was of the view that resignation of Khil Raj Regmi from the post of Chief Justice would prepare political basis for election.
During the programme, party central office's secretary Ratneshwarlal Kayastha, central leader Bijay Yadav, Kathmandu Valley In-charge Birendra Pradhan and central committee member Rekha Yadav, among others also expressed their opinions.
Earlier, the party organized a rally demanding a free and fair election and proportional representation in the CA. RSS
