Rajbiraj (Saptari), July 30: Yogendra Yadav, 32, alias Jogendra of Ramnagar VDC-2 in Saptari district has been remanded into custody for investigation on Monday on the charge of murdering his wife.
The District Judge Mohan Raj Bhattarai decided to send him into the custody for further investigation.
He is accused of murdering his wife Urmila Devi Yadav, 27, by strangling her on May 9, it is learnt. He was at large after murdering her and eloped with his brother's wife Laxmi Devi.
He was arrested on July 2 from Aurahi VDC-7 after case was filed by Urmila's father Keshori Yadav. RSS
