Gaushala, Aug 4: A 10-year-old boy from Jaleshwor, district headquarters of Mahottari, died after being fatally injured while bicycling near his house.
While the boy was bicycling, an iron rod from the bicycle's brake broke down suddenly, sprang and pierced the boy's eye and reached up to the brain which finally led to his death on Saturday, according to family sources.
The victim was Abhisekh Kumar Mandal, son of Surendra Mandal, from Jaleshwor Municipality-7.
Rushed to Janakpur Zonal Hospital after the accident, he was referred to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, but breathed his last in the night, said victims' uncle Birendra Mandal. RSS
