Kapilbastu, Aug. 7: A Korean charity organisation has donated three million rupees for the construction of a library block of a primary school here.
District Education Officer (DEO) Surendra Prajuli laid the foundation stone for the construction of the library block at the Pashupati Shikshya Mandir, a primary School at Suthauli, Bedauli VDC-6 in the district. The Bedauli VDC is two kilometers north of the Nepal-India border.
It is said that the Auditors Association, an organization based in Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, will provide the money for constructing the two-room library block. The construction will be completed in three months, it is stated.
The library will also have computer, e-mail and internet facilities, in addition to sports and games equipment. The Good Handa organization headquartered in Korea reached an agreement with the Auditors Association, Seoul for providing the assistance to Nepal under the aegis of its Nepal branch.RSS
