Damak, Aug. 4: The Damak Municipal Coordination Council of Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) has decided to build a museum of the indigenous people at Damak of Jhapa district.
The Council took this decision with the aim of protecting art and culture of the indigenous nationalities.
For the construction of the museum, the NEFIN is to provide Rs 50 million, said council secretary Padma Jawegu.
"A well-managed five story building would be constructed for the museum," he said, adding that the Damak Municipality has bought land for the museum at Rs 2.12 million. RSS
