Birgunj, Aug. 4: Senior leader of CPN (UML) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said fever of the second Constituent Assembly election has already gripped the country.

Speaking at a press meet organised by the Press Chautari Parsa chapter here today, he stressed the need of holding the election on November 19.

"The four major political parties are committed to conducting the election on the announced date, however, it can be considered if the CPN-Maoist agreed to join the election". But, the party has no clear views about the election matters, he added.

The CPN(UML) will emerge as the single largest party in the upcoming CA election, he said, claiming that the government to be formed under the leadership of the largest party will promulgate a new constitution within a year of the formation of government. We are in favour of federalism that promotes social harmony, he said. RSS
