Suspension bridges Constructed

Khotang, Aug. 4: Locals from dozens of VDCs are benefited after the construction of two suspension bridges over the Bunwa, and Makhuwa Rivers in the district.

The District Development Committee (DDC) had provided Rs. 2.9 million while Kabule and Bopung VDCs donated Rs. 120,000 for the construction of the suspension bridges over the Bunwa River, said the Users Committee.

Similarly, the bridge over the Makhuwa was constructed at the total cost of Rs 3.2 million provided by the DDC, Himali Club and Devisthan VDC, said Durga Magae, according to Durga Magar, Chairman of the User Committee.

The locals said they have felt great relief for mobility after the construction of the bridges. RSS
